About Fizza

Who I Am

Grief, loss, and big life changes can feel like too much to carry, and it’s not always clear what to do next. Living with ADHD, navigating student life, or facing cultural and systemic barriers can add to that weight. My role is to provide a space where you can sort through those challenges honestly, at your own pace. I bring care, patience, and a steady presence—trusting that you already hold knowledge and strengths that can help you move through difficult times.
As a South Asian Shi’a Muslim, the work I do is shaped by my own lived experience and by the resilience of my ancestors, whose stories guide me. I understand the importance of being seen for who you are—especially when your story doesn’t neatly fit into dominant narratives. In our work together, your culture, identity, faith, ancestry, and lived experiences will be valued as central parts of who you are.
What we focus on is up to you. That might mean making space for grief, figuring out practical ways to navigate daily stress, or reconnecting with parts of yourself that feel distant. Sometimes these conversations will be heavy; other times they may feel lighter or even playful—because making space for both is often part of what helps us feel whole. My hope is that you leave each session with a greater sense of steadiness, perspective, and the reminder that you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Fun Facts

I’m always up for an adventure—whether that’s exploring a new city, trying foods I’ve never had before, meeting new people, or learning about different cultures. I also hold close the small joys in life: a warm cup of chai, getting lost in music or a book, and the kind of laughter that stays with you.
