About Mahisha

Who I Am

I believe meaningful mental health care begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood.

I am a mental health advocate with both professional experience and a deeply personal understanding of what it means to navigate mental health challenges. My own journey has shaped how I show up for others, with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to understanding each person’s story.

My clinical background began in acute care nursing, where I supported individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. I later transitioned into community care, working with adults across the lifespan, including the geriatric population. These experiences have strengthened my belief that mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and tailored to the whole person, not just a set of symptoms.

I have a particular interest in supporting individuals with ADHD, especially those who feel overlooked or who struggle in silence. I see ADHD as more than a diagnosis, as it often overlaps with anxiety, depression, and cognitive challenges. My approach is holistic, focusing on how these experiences connect and impact daily life rather than treating them in isolation.

At the heart of my work is listening. I believe healing begins when people feel truly heard, yet many don’t get the time or space to share their full story. My goal is to help change that by creating a space where we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and work toward meaningful, lasting change together.

Fun Facts

Outside of my professional role, I’m a busy mom learning resilience and patience through the everyday moments of parenthood. I love sharing good food and meaningful conversations, it’s one of my favorite ways to connect. I also enjoy a good music jam or dancing just because, and I value humor as a way to keep life from feeling too heavy. I believe there’s always room for both depth and laughter in the healing process
