Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that don't serve you anymore? Whether anxiety is clouding your daily life, past trauma is affecting your present, or you're navigating a challenging transition, you're not alone and you don't have to face it all on your own. I'm here to help you untangle the mess, gain clarity, and build practical strategies to move forward.
My work integrates deep empathy, evidence-based techniques, and holistic practices to support you in reducing distress and fostering resilience. Together, we'll develop a therapeutic relationship focused on your personal goals and unique journey, creating space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Every case is unique. We need to understand your challenges before we pick the tools to resolve them. I usually find it best to tailor therapy to meet the unique needs of each client.
I'm currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, practicing under the supervision of Robert Simms as part of my practicum. I also hold a PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology from Western University, where I researched resilience, trauma, adversity, mindfulness, and symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. My academic background includes work on trauma and abuse in family systems and validating a gold-standard measure of relational trauma. Clinically, I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches like ACT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
